Quail in Cream Wine Sauce

1/4 vegitable oil
2  small onions, minced
2  whole cloves
1  tsp peppercorns
2  cloves garlic, cut fine
1  bay leaf
6  quail, cleaned & trussed
2  cup white wine (something you would drink!)
1/2  tsp salt
1/8  tsp pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1  tsp minced chives

Simple Broiled Quail

This simple recipe works well with Quail but would easily work with any other wild foul as well - Enjoy!
Preheat your broiler with the pan in place for 10 minutes
Split the cleaned Quail in two lengthwise and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Spread butter on skin side to coat
