Game Marinade

2 medium onions chopped fine
1 carrot thinly sliced
2 stalks celery chopped
2 cloves of garlic chopped fine
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. dried parsley
2 bay leaves
12 whole black pepper corns
2 whole cloves
2 cup red wine
1/2 cup cider vineger
1/2 cup salad oil

Mix everything together and pour over venison or any game meat in a non-reactive container
Refrigerate 24 hours before cooking
Discard marinade before cooking
